We started with a pray reflection at St Thomas Aquinas Church - at the UofT Newman Center. Then about 200 of the Faithful - all ages - walked with enthusiasm to the Cathedral for the celebration Mass. During his homily Archbishop Collins reminded us of the leadership and inspiration of the first Archbishop - Michael Power - who called for the Cathedral to be built. Archbishop Power lost his life to typhus at 43 - while serving the suffering immigrant population. After Mass there was a great outdoor gathering with food and music!
